Pavel Vladimirovich Spiridonov was born in 1990 in Moscow. Pavel’s mother, Ludmila Spiridonova was a professional basketball player. Pavel began his playing career in Isreal, where he moved when he was young.
Spiridinov played for the youth team Maccabi from Tel Aviv, where he would go on to become the champion of the country and their national cup. Spiridinov played for Israel’s U-16 and U-18 national team under the name Daniel Yosif Rom. After returning to Russia, he began to play for the U-20 national team. Since 2008, he had been part of the Triumph’s system.
Owing to injuries, he was forced to miss the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 seasons, but he returned to the court after that and brought his team to the final round of the Euro Challenge. In the summer of 2014, he became a winner of the Stankovich Cup as part of the Russian national team.
