Zenit - Nizhny Novgorod - 80:60
For the first time the visitors to Zenit came after making it to the top 16 of the Euroleague. The black and white had for a long time led the way in the United league table, starting with a series of ten wins in a row. Apparently, these feats had cost Nizhny Novgorod to much energy, because in this game Zenit and Nizhny were on equal terms in the first half. with both teams paying great attention to their defence and went in to the break with the score at 30:29. After the long break, Zenit's defense kept up their performance and Nizhny's did not. Hodge for Koshcheev scored 56 points between them and helped the blue-white-sky blues to win a beautiful victory.

Zenit - Nizhny Novgorod - 73:72
In the regular season Zenit and Nizhny finished in fourth and fifth places, and meet each other in the first round of the playoffs of the tournament. A series of three victories kicked off in St. Petersburg. The first match was very tough, and for 40 minutes the teams were neck and neck. With 9 seconds left, the score was equal, but Zenit took possession of the ball. The decisive attack set off and Walter Hodge, who forced the opponent to foul and Zenit went on to win by a single point.

Zenit - Nizhny Novgorod - 80:84
In the second match of the series the guests very strictly defended again and led at half-time 33:40. Zenit had serious difficulties in attack and St. Petersburg missed a lot of free throws. In the third quarter, Vasily Karasev had to remove Artem Vihrov from the match as he was not fully recovered from injury. Zenit pushed the opposition as much as possible during the match and pushed the game into overtime. But unfortunately the visiting side won out in the end by just 4 points.
11 May 2015. VTB United League. 1/4 finals. The fifth match.
Zenit - Nizhny Novgorod - 65:75
After the series moved to Nizhny Novgorod, Zenit lost the first match, but managed to win the second in the series and returned to St. Petersburg with a chance of getting through. Unfortunately, the impact of pursuing Novgorod throughout the season, numerous injuries and the effort in the playoffs took it out of the team. One of the main factors that determined the outcome, was the visitors excellent defensive game. The hosts gave away a number of penalties after an equal first half and lost ground in the second, bringing an end to the first season in team's history.
2 March 2016. Eurocup. 1/8 finals. The return match.
Zenit - Nizhny Novgorod - 89:74
The next time Nizhny Novgorod arrived in St. Petersburg ten months was later. It was the return match in the 1/8 finals of the European Cup. In the match Zenit performed poorly and lost out 76: 102 and gave their opponents a solid head start. After an equal first half, St. Petersburg gradually began to go into the lead, but still could not work a miracle and win back 26 points in 20 minutes. Zenit went out of the tournament and Nizhny Novgorod progressed.
