Zenit Basketball team has signed forward Nikita Barinov, the player will join the blue-white-sky blues on the eve of the game with Sakhalin in the quarter-finals of the Russian Cup.

Before Zenit the forward played for BC Ryazan. At the bisons Nikita played 10 matches in the Super League championship, gaining 12.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 passes and 0.5 blocked shots in 25 minutes .

His professional career began at CSKA Moscow, then in season 2011/2012 he played for the Lithuanian Naglis and BC Neptūnas, but the 2012-13 season he went to Moscow Triumph.** Before the start of the 2013-14 season Barinov returned to Lithuania, where he became a player, with Juventus and the following season he won the bronze medal of the championship of Lithuania and the Baltic League. He moved to Ryazan in November 2015.
